My passion is creating memorable vacations for my clients which make them want more.

 

My interest in travel began on a student tour of Italy, Austria, and Hungary at the age of 13. From then I was hooked on anything involving other cultures. I studied archaeology in college with courses on Ancient Egypt, Inca Empire, and specializing in Ancient Greek and Roman civilizations, earning a degree in Classics. I spent a month in Greece on an archaeology dig after graduation, spending time in both major cities and small towns. I loved having this combination of experiences and wanted more exploration like this. After several more trips to Europe and cruises in the Caribbean, Mexico, and Alaska, I became a travel agent 9 years ago.

 

I have planned hundreds of customs and guided tours to Europe, Hawaii, Mexico, the Caribbean, Canada, and cruises to all 7 continents for my clients. I love learning about different destinations, ways of traveling, and all the exciting new travel options coming out every year.  I want everyone to have the chance to see something that changes them.

Ever since becoming a travel agent, I’ve nurtured a special place in my heart for Royal Caribbean Cruises. As a mother of two young children, ages 4 and 7, I was initially drawn to this remarkable cruise line because of its ability to cater to families with an array of engaging activities, well-structured kids clubs, and versatile dining options. My priority has always been to ensure my children are entertained and engaged, and Royal Caribbean excels in providing just that, while also offering my husband and me some much-needed relaxation time.

I am proud to say that I have completed Royal Caribbean’s travel agent training program, equipping me with the specialized knowledge needed to craft seamless and unforgettable cruise experiences. My expertise allows me to offer unique insights and guidance to travelers planning their journey with Royal Caribbean.

One of my top tips is to familiarize yourself with the ship's app and the onboard activities ahead of time. Activities like laser tag and ice skating require reservations, so planning in advance ensures you won’t miss out on the fun. Plus, the trivia sessions in the lounges and movies by the pool add an extra layer of enjoyment.

One of my favorite personal experiences was when we purchased The Key program on a short cruise. The exclusive benefits were phenomenal, from priority embarkation with a special dining room lunch to priority disembarkation at our chosen time, not to mention the hassle-free service of having our carry-on bags delivered directly to our room. The reserved times for The Key participants at the ice rink and slides were a bonus that made the experience even more special for us.

When it comes to designing unique travel itineraries, my approach is always personalized. I strive to match the perfect cruise to each individual’s preferences and needs. For my family, a short itinerary on an action-packed ship was ideal so my kids could fully enjoy the experience. As they grow older, I'll prioritize cruises to more adventurous destinations. When traveling with friends, we focus on the onboard experiences designed for adults. This tailored approach ensures that each cruise journey is perfectly suited to my client's lifestyles and desires.

Feedback from my clients consistently highlights their love for the variety of activities Royal Caribbean offers. Families and active adults appreciate activities like laser tag, giant water slides, archery, ice skating, rock climbing, and enjoying the pools and hot tubs. Leisure activities, including relaxing in lounges with live music, enjoying drinks, poolside movie nights, or attending art auctions, also receive high praise.
